Welcome to the Albuquerque (KZAB) Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC).
The KZAB ARTCC provides service for Arizona, New Mexico and Texas. The southernmost portion of the ARTCC is the international border with Mexico. KZAB has many different geographic areas ranging from high mountains to desert plains, and offers quite a few airports in which to fly in and out of, or in which to offer ATC services.
This website is designed to make your piloting and / or controlling in the KZAB ARTCC enjoyable and realistic. You will have access to detailed sector files, KZAB ARTCC NOTAMS, airport and frequency listings, current METARS, links to charts, specialized quick reference charts and much more.
If you are interested in a career controlling within KZAB airspace, please contact the US-DIR at us-dir@ivao.aero. Staff positions may elect to have a specific airport to manage or a specific fixed control position, such as Albuquerque Approach (KABQ_APP).
Warm Regards,
Your Vacant Albuquerque ARTCC staff.
